South Pacific & International Coverage

We've already staged non-medical emergency aid equipment (chainsaws, tools, tarps, desalination units, small tents, etc.) at our South Pacific Center and we have allocated funds to purchase emergency bulk food locally to supplement our response vessels.

South Pacific Staging Center (Port Denarau, Fiji)

Our secure South Pacific Staging Center is located at our Sea Mercy Fiji office, in partnership with Port Denarau Marina. Port Denarau Marina is located in the heart of the Pacific and is the premier yacht and Superyacht facility for the region. This prime location gives our First Response Fleet yachts and vessels the ability to immediately load our staged shelters, desalination units, equipment, and medical supplies and be ready to sail within 24-48 hours. We will be staging the following non-perishable equipment and supplies in this staging facility:

Non-Perishable Medical Equipment & Supplies

  • Three - Gatekeeper 20 Shelters
  • Six - Gatekeeper 1935 Shelters (four for hospitals and two for schools)
  • Four - Spectra Portable (solar powered) 1,000/liter/day desalination units (carried by smaller yachts)
  • Two - Cathelco T-50 Series Portable 10,000 gallon/day refurbished desalination units (carried by larger yachts)
  • Sixteen - Medical Treatment & Recovery Bed
  • Eight - Vital Signs Monitors
  • Four - Autoclaves (surgical sterilization units)
  • One - Portable Laboratory's (blood work)
  • Thirty - Non-perishable Medical Supplies Kit (treat 50+ patients each)
  • Forty - Non-perishable Medical Equipment & Supplies Kits (Blood Pressure Cuff, Otoscope, Stethoscope, Thermometer, etc.)
  • Four - Small Refrigerator (pharmacy storage)
  • Four - Generator for peak needs
  • Four - Solar Power Unit & Two Batteries

Perishable Emergency Equipment & Medical Supplies Response Fund

  • Ten - Portable Pharmacy Kits (treat 50+ patients each)

- these kits will be flown out with our emergency medical response teams.
